Back in August, I hosted my very first flower crown workshop! After visiting one of my favorite cafe’s and boutiques, Morning Lavender, I knew I wanted to host an event in this beautiful space! What started as an idea quickly became reality and I was doing something I’ve never done before-teach a room full of woman a skill that has been a part of my life for the past 9 years-flower crown making. This ended up being one of my favorite moments of my entire career as a bridal designer and maker! We had so much fun together as we all created community and had such a great age range! We sipped lavender lattes, enjoyed some exciting giveaways, learned something new and talked for a few hours straight!
Marisa from Grace and Light Photo who captured all of these pretty photos and fun moments of our girls night, Afloral who donated all of the flowers and greenery to create our lavender crowns (you can create your own DIY Lavender Flower Crown here), my dear friends Tara and Megan who helped me set up, drove us down there and helped me put all of the flower kits together, all of our amazing sponsors (listed below) who donated their products and time for all of our attendees to enjoy and the wonderful Morning Lavender Team who had the best service and graciously let us transform their café for this event. Also, last but certainly not least, every. single. woman. who attended this workshop! All of these ladies were so kind, funny and wonderful! It was the very best experience because of all of these women who came! So incredibly thankful for them!
Here are the photos from our first flower crown workshop! If you’d like to come to our upcoming workshops in the Spring, sign up to be the first to know when they are available!

Greenery is one of my favorite additives for any space and I absolutely love the greenery details in this winter wedding styled shoot at Harmony Meadows in Washington! It was an absolute pleasure to work with the incredibly talented Alex Lasota once again as she captured these romantic photos featuring the bride wearing a custom flower crown I created for this shoot. You can also request a custom floral crown here. If you’d like this same design of whites and greenery, just let me know in the form!
Alex and GariAnn of Tin Sparrow Events planned and coordinated this shoot beautifully with the sweetest and loveliest of details including ever flowing florals and greenery by Fleur De Lis, a delicious tiered cake by Sweet Crumbs, perfectly ethereal calligraphy by Sydney Beth Designs and SO many more details including a personal favorite, PUPPIES!!
